Scout Swim
Earn your Boy Scout Aquanaut badges, sports pin, or Girl Scout Swimming badges.  Instructor will be provided.  Minimum 8, contact Lisa Cohen at 636-532-3100 ext. 246

Lifeguard Classes

For swimmers age 16 and up. Offered 4 times per year:  August - September, December, March-May, and June

Class teaches personal safety survival swimming, and non-swimming water rescues as well as addressing issues of professional lifeguarding. Strokes: Free, Breast, Inverted Side, Inverted Breast, Side. Class teaches personal safety, survival swimming, and non-swimming water rescues as well as addressing issues of professional lifeguarding.

Prerequisite: Continuous 500 meter swim test given the first day of class must be able to pass to continue class; standard first aid/ CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED and Oxygen Administration for certification required.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED Training

Designed for the professional rescuer, this course covers CPR for the adult, infant and child, two-man rescuer CPR, use of resuscitation mask, use of a bag valve mask, use of an AED, and the use of oxygen tank. Students earn a CPR/PR/AED/Oxy Admin certificate valid for one year.

First Aid
