Meet the 2011 Camp Staff!

ASHLEY – CAMP COORDINATOR
Hi parents! My name is Ashley and I am excited to kick off a stupendous summer with your happy campers! Outside of Camp, I am Literacy Learning Lab instructor for the Y – I just love enriching the lives of young people. My goal for the summer is to provide a rewarding & memorable experience for campers and counselors!

RON – SPORTS CAMP COORDINATOR
Hi Campers and Parents! I hope you remember me from last year.  I am BACK and no, you didn’t run me off yet! I graduated from Parkway South High. One of my favorite activities is working out or playing sports.  My goal for the summer is to have an awesome summer with the new children and have a terrific sports camp.  

JACK
My name is Taylor “Jack”.  I just graduated form Notre Dame High School and will attend Maryville University in the fall.  My favorite activity includes playing volleyball and watching Cardinals games.  My goal for summer camp is to make a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all campers!

CUISINE
My name is Matt “Cuisine”.  I am studying at the University of Dayton.  My favorite hobbies include playing sports and being healthy.  My goal for the summer is to have a great internship here and meet many people!

LITTLE ROO
My name is Lizz “little roo.”  I just graduated from Visitation Academy.  My favorite activity is playing a game – like Have You Seen My Goat? My goal for the summer is to make new friends and have ALL kinds of MEGA super lightning AWESOME fun!

SUNSHINE
I am Tiffany “Miss Sunshine”.  I am a senior at Harris-Stowe State University.  My favorite activity is arts and crafts!  I love to be creative!  My goal for summer camp is to ensure that all campers are having a great time!

ANAKIN
My name is Anne “Anakin”.  I graduated from Rosati-Kain High School in May and I am going to Westminster College in the fall!  I really love traveling, kickball and anything I can do outside.  My goal for summer camp is for all our campers to have FUN!

CASEY
I just graduated from Lutheran South and I am headed to Southeast Missouri State in the fall.  I love laying my clarinet and saxophone for musicals!  I hope every camper learns responsibility, honesty, respect and caring at camp this summer!

STEPHANIE
I am going to be a junior at Westminster College.  My FAVORITE activity is to travel – I have been to 13 countries! My goal for the summer is to have fun and meet lots of new campers!

PINKY
I am Rae “Pinky” and I just graduated from Meramec Community College and will be attending Lincoln U in the fall.  I enjoy tap dancing in my free time and this summer my goal is to have a great time!

STUCKY
I am Matthew and I am studying at Millikin University to be a Scenic Designer.  I love playing high-energy games with campers.  Outside of camp I enjoy hanging with friends.  I hope to have a fantastic summer by being a role model for campers.

JOSE
Hola! My name is Allison “Jose”.  I am currently attending Forest Park Community College and I am studying nursing.  I truly love to play soccer and watch hockey.  My goal for this summer is to have a fabulous time at camp and meet a lot of new faces, counselors and campers.

O – BRIEN!
I am Katie “O-BRIEN!” and I am currently a senior at the University of Tampa, where I am studying Early Childhood Education.  I also run Cross Country and track for U of T. I enjoy playing and watching sports.  My goal for this summer is to improve leadership skills and learn from campers!

PAVAROTTI
Hello! I am Patrick “Pavarotti,” and I will be a sophomore at the University of Missouri, studying business and Russian.  I love sports, especially baseball and the Cardinals.  I also love to travel. I am very excited for the summer and my main goal is to be a positive facilitator, allowing kids to discover their potential!

MINNIE
My name is Megg, or “Ms. Minnie.”  I am a sophomore at Lindenwood University, studying biology.  I like to sing in choir and travel in the summer.  This summer I want to make new friends and have a lot of fun.

K-PO
I am Kelly “K-PO.” I am a senior at SEMO!  My favorite activity is ANY sport and my goal this summer is to have as much fun as possible at camp!

DAN
Hi!  I am Dan and I am a middle school English teacher.  I love helping young people learn and thrive.  I can’t wait for an awesome summer with all of you!
