So you have joined the Y...now what? Take advantage of our FREE Health and Wellness Consultation for members! Meet with our fitness staff to assess your goals and talk through how to achieve them. Schedule an appointment at our branch today!
Group Exercise Classes
All Group Exercise classes are included in your membership to the Downtown YMCA. There is no extra fee.
New classes to the Fall II Group Exercise Schedule include:
Monday 5:15-6:45pm Cycling + Exer-ball. Amy has added Exer-ball to her Cycling class giving members an opportunity for a cardio workout in addition to working your core muscles!
Wednesday 5:45-6:45 Bootcamp with Stan is back! Emphasizing major muscle groups, cardio conditioning, balance and endurance.
Family Fitness Class 6-7pm. Join us in the Gym for a variety of active sports and games for youth of all ages. All parents are strongly encouraged to participate in class with their children. Have fun while staying active. Family Game night on the last Wednesday of each month including health snacks!
Saturday Cycling at 9:30am and Yoga Stretch at 11am with Jill! With Fall weather here, its time to take your weekend workout inside. Share the Y and bring a friend to class!

Y Personal Fitness (ages 18 and up)
Is this your first time considering an exercise routine? Or have you tried to exercise and just can't keep with it? Then Y Personal Fitness is designed just for you! Check out this 12-week program that pairs you with a personal coach to help you meet our goals.
FREE to Full Members
Fitness Orientation (ages 18 and up)
The Y offers a complimentary fitness orientation with one of our trained health & wellness staff for all of our members. This one-on-one orientation gives health seekers a chance to discuss their peronal goals and workout routines. To schedule your orientation, please stop by the service center.

Types of Personal Training
Fitting in fitness/Circuit/interval training
Short on time and looking for a workout the will get you results? If you want a personalized workout that will be both challenging and time efficient, a trainer can show you how to fit is all into your busy schedule.
You want to improve your overall fitness level and be able to perform daily tasks with ease. Functional Training will incorporate dynamic movements to help make climbing stairs, carrying a backpack and lifting objects a breeze!
Looking to improve your running time, increase your cycling endurance or put more power into your tennis serve? Sports-Specific Training will help enhance your performance by focusing on movements to your certain sport.
Balance and Core Training
Our trainers can provide programs to improve posture, coordination and decrease rish of injury by focusing on balance and training the abdominal and lower back muscles.
Do you want to learn to incorporate fitness into your lifestyle to make it a life-long habit? A trainer can show you how to fit activity into yor daily routines to make you a healthy, life-long exerciser.
We offer Individual Personal Training (60 min.), Group Personal Training (60 min.), Individual Personal Training Express (30 min.) and Group Personal Training Express (30 min.)
