Everybody in the pool! Aquatics at the Y teach personal water safety, stroke development, water sports and games, rescue and personal growth skills. Our professional staff helps members quickly overcome any fears of water and develop self-confidence.

YOUTH SWIMMING INSTRUCTION
Group Instruction National YMCA swim lessons are designed to teach personal water safety, stroke development, water sports & games, rescue and personal growth skills to children. Our program is divided by age, beginning with parent/child classes, and by skill levels. Class desciptions - on the schedule - can help place your child in the right class, or, for swim-level testing, please contact us by email.
Private and Semi-Private Lessons For age 3 through adult. Receive six 30-minute lessons per session. An application must be completed one week prior to the start of each session. Click here to request more information.
Intro to Swim Team For age 6-12 who swim 2 lengths freestyle, back & breast & 1 butterfly. Teaches turns, polishes strokes and builds endurance.

SWIM CLINICS SPRING 2013
Prepare for summer teams in these popular stroke clinics offered in our Spring II Session.
YMCA LIFEGUARDING COURSE
For those age 16 and up, a lifeguarding course that when completed successfully and all classes are attended, provides certification. Prereq swim test is given on the first day of class. Students learn standard first aid, CPR for the professional rescuer, AED and oxygen adminstration. Click here for Spring 2013 Lifeguard Training Courses. WATER EXERCISE
Our water exercise programs range from gentle exercise that is easy on the joints to intense workouts that burn fat and tone. In addition, we offer adult beginning swim instruction and master's swimming.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please shower before entering pool or steamroom. Walk when on pool deck. Trained lifeguards have final authority when enforcing pool and safety rules. Safety is our first priority, and we reserve the right to clear the pool for inclement weather. We close the pool when lightning is overhead and for 30 minutes after the last strike. Lap swimming is available for ages 13 and up and swim team members. Lap swim may be limited or unavailable at times.
