The Teen Leaders Club is a community service group for teens in the St. Louis area. The Club is for teenagers ages 12-18, or 6th to 12th grade. All Leaders Club members are required to attend Club meetings on Thursday evenings from at the Carondelet Park Rec Complex. Members are also required to complete at least 8 hours of community service per month.
STRONG COMMUNITY ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
Every year starting in November, the Carondelet Park Rec Complex kicks off its campaign season. We count on the generosity of our members and partners who give to our Strong Community Annual Campaign in order to welcome all who need a healthy, connected and secure place to go.
The Y gave $2.38 million back to our communities in direct financial assistance in 2011, including $1.28 million in membership assistance to 5,240 member households.
The campaign wouldn't be this successful without the help of volunteers and campaigners like you. Thank you to all those who donate and spread the word about what the Y does and offers!
YOUTH SPORTS COACHES
We are currently in the need of Youth Sports volunteers. If you have an interest in volunteering for Youth Basketball, Youth Soccer, Youth Volleyball, Youth Flag Football or Youth Summerball, please contact Kristen Styer at 314.685.3800 ext. 212.
Y VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Year, Dave Neighbors, who was recognized for his dedication and service to the YMCA throughout 2012-13. Dan Kweskin was also honored with the Strong Community Champion award for her fundraising efforts and volunteer planning during the 2013 Strong Community Campaign. Thank you for all that you do!
