INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

BRANCH POLICY:

In the event of inclement weather, the Emerson Family YMCA follows the Hazelwood, Pattonville and Ferguson/Florissant School District's severe weather policy. If the following District's are closed the Emerson Family YMCA will canel classes and programs scheduled before 12:00 Noon. We will re-evaluate road and weather conditions at 2pm to determine weather late afternoon and evening classes and programs will be held.

YMCA facilities like the pool, fitness center and gym will typically remain open even when program and classes are cancelled.

Daniel Yonko  Executive Director

Class Cancellation:

In the case of inclement weather that may cause dangerous travel conditions for our staff or members, we may cancel classes or programs appropriately. We will make an attempt to call members and program particpants that are currently on class rosters. We will update the Emerson branch web site accordingly.

Facility Hours:

We will make every effort to keep the facility open during normal business hours. If the facility cannot open on time or must close early, we will update the Emerson branch website accordingly. Please check the Weather Updates icon link on the Emerson branch web site.
