Teen Leaders Program
Our leaders club is for youth in grades 6 through 12. Work as a team and take part in experiences that allow you to grow as an individual. Attend Rallies and Central Leaders School and volunteer with YMCA programs. The Leaders clubs are a great way to learn and grow. This program teaches teens such things as responsibility, leadership, respect for others, and the value of friendship.
Teens will travel to Leaders School each year. The purpose of YMCA Central Leaders School is to help teens develop new skills & grow as individuals. Through courses and group discussion led by YMCA professionals and volunteers, participants learn more about themselves and others, gain new friends and experience new things.
YMCA Central Leaders School is a special experience that students will remember for a lifetime. Long lasting friendships and personal bonds are formed. It is an exciting, supportive atmosphere for teens to learn about themselves and others. Teens return with both skills to use in their volunteer work at their home YMCAs and a positive effect on their self-image. It is truly a treasured experience for all that attend.
