KARATE

For the whole family, ages 7 and up

Build character, confidence, and self control.
Stay in shape while learning self-defense.

The YMCA Karate Program is a 10 week session in traditional, non-contact Shotokan Karate. The class emphasizes concentration, coordination, balance and self-defense skills.

Classes are taught by ASKA licensed instructor, Jeannie Byrnes. She holds a Sandan (3rd degree black belt) ranking and has been teaching at the Tri-County YMCA since 1999.

All Karate classes will take place at The Pilates and Yoga Center of Lake St. Louis located at 930 Bent Oak Ct. Lake St. Louis, MO 63367.

Beginner: Thursdays: 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Intermediate: Thursdays: 6:30 – 7:30 pm

FALL 2012

Registration: Begins September 3, 2012
Session Dates: September 27 – December 6 (No Class Nov. 22)
Examination Date: December 6

WINTER 2013

Registration: Begins November 19, 2012
Session Dates: December 13 – February 28 (No Class Dec. 27)
Examination Date: February 28

Program Fee: $100
Resident of Wentzville: $80
Members Pay Only: $50 for first child; $25 each additional child
