"Friends and Family" Community Gardening

Through our garden we strive to connect seniors and youth to provide the following for the community and our members:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Host events to provide nutrition education and build community

     

     

    Teen Leaders

    The YMCA Leaders Club help teens learn how to express themselves, come together for a common cause and be active and informed citizens. Leaders Clubs involve teens in community service projects and leadership activities.

    Youth in Governemt

    Youth in Government (YIG) provides high school students with the necessary tools and information to explore the concepts of democracy. This club also promotes youth citizenship and civic responsibility to the school, YMCA, community, and state of MIssouri.

    We are currently looking for high school students who have a passion for politics to join our 2010 – 2011 Youth in Government Club! If you have an interest in forming legislation, arguing court case, lobbying delegates or writing press articles, please call Emily Cloud at 314-521-1822 or send her an email to ecloud@ymcastlouis.org to join our club.
