Education and Mentoring Children
Y-Arts and Kids

Y-Catalyst
In partnership with the after-school program at a local elementary school, student volunteers work with youth to focus on science skills, teaching them basic scientific principles and doing hands-on science projects.
Y-Tutor
Volunteers tutor elementary-aged students one-on-one in math and reading on a weekly basis at a local elementary school.
Youth University
In partnership with the Washington University Campus Y, the Youth University Program serves low-income middle school students who are first generation college-bound. The students visit different universities in the area and learn about higher education, college life, and different academic departments. They are encouraged to start thinking about their future and all the opportunities higher education will give them.
