Branch History
In anticipation of greater needs in the downtown community, the Downtown YMCA opened the Marquette satellite facility on North Broadway in 1987. The state-of-the-art facility is located on the third and fourth floors of the Marquette Building. The Downtown and Marquette YMCAs were merged in 1990. The Marquette YMCA was renovated in 2006 updating the facility and adding new services and equipment.
The Marquette YMCA operates as a corporate fitness-focused facility. This adults-only facility has met the needs of downtown professionals for 23 years.
