Parent Education
Beginning Babies with Books
Beginning Babies with Books works with parents to develop at-home literacy skills by providing parent support and opportunities to receive children's books.
Parent Education Classes
As part of the YMCA's focus on youth development, health and wellness and social responsibility, Beginning Babies with Books partners with numerous agencies throughout the St. Louis area. Workshops are held in conjunction with our partner agencies.
Parenting classes through Y Literacy encourage parents to:
- advocate for their children
- discipline through Love and Logic®
- become comfortable in their parenting skills.
If you have a group of 10 or more parents who are interested in parenting workshops please contact Jennifer at jschmidt@ymcastlouis.org or 314.776.7102.
